Re-Sealing and Rising Damp Injection in Wollongong
Let Us Help You
The re-sealing of tiles, concrete, brick and masonry surfaces has been around for a long time. Longlife Waterproofing has developed its own re-sealing system using state-of-the-art products and preparation techniques. We are happy to use these tried-and-true methods in your home or business to make your materials last longer and look better.
About Our Methods
The life of the system is long because of the sealers’ ability to penetrate the surfaces and prevent any water from entering. Longlife Waterproofing has had great success using these products on tiled, brick, concrete and masonry surfaces. The system we use will not change the slip rating of the surface, is virtually undetectable and makes the surface easier to clean and the cleaning intervals further apart.
Negative Waterproofing
We specialise in negative waterproofing, a process used when the normal or positive side of bricks, concrete or masonry cannot be waterproofed because they are underground or not accessible. Negative waterproofing works by applying membrane waterproofing to the interior or ‘dry side’ of a wall or foundation to prevent water from reaching the interior space. We have many great systems that can apply to waterproof the negative side of any leaking surface.
Rising Damp Injections
Longlife Waterproofing has been using the Westox 50 low odour damp course injection system for over 20 years to repair rising damp in brickwork. The system works by injecting the fluid into the mortar of brickwork so it can completely penetrate the masonry and mortar joints.
